Pine Needle Basket Weaving Workshop

$40**RESCHEDULED TO MARCH 6, 2022**
In partnership with the Northwest Louisiana Basket Weavers group, this workshop will introduce participants ages 14 & up to the materials and techniques of pine needle basket making in the manner of the Coushatta tribe. Cost to participate is $40 per person and will include hands-on instruction and enough prepared materials to create two baskets. Minimum of 6 and maximum of 12 participants.
Advance registration and payment required by Monday, January 10, 2022. Payments to the NWLA Basket Weavers of cash or check made to Geraldine Zelinsky can be made at Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park during park hours or via mail. Online payments can be made through Zelle.
