Wild Child Summer Camp
Do you have a wild child? Does your kid love spending time outside?
Then Wild Child Summer Camp is the place for them!
Wild Child Summer Camp is designed for kids ages 8-12 who love nature and
want to increase knowledge and awareness of the natural world. Each week will include lots of time
outdoors, hands-on educational activities, hiking, arts & crafts, and games.
CAMP DESCRIPTIONS:
Raptors Rock! Camp (Weeks 1 & 2)
Owls, eagles, and falcons, oh my! Kids will dive into the world of raptors through live bird-of-prey encounters, fun activities, and field trips to learn all about the ecology, adaptations, and habits of native raptors.
Outdoor Skills Camp (Weeks 3 & 4)
This camp is for active explorers! Kids will be introduced to canoeing, archery, and fishing along with other skills that can be used for years to come in enjoying outdoor recreation.
Junior Naturalist Camp (Weeks 5 & 6)
Calling all nature-enthusiasts! Kids will explore near-by natural areas to learn about native flora and fauna through hikes, collection, observation, and other hands-on experiences. Topics to include edible/poisonous plants, aquatic ecosystem exploration, native reptile identification, birding, and lots more!
