DESCRIPTION:“Girl\, You Got It” Basketball and Empowerment Camp  \n Ages: 6- 14 (girls only)  \nDate/Time: July 14\, 2026\, 9 am -2 pm  \nVenue: LSU-Shreveport Gymnasium 1 University Pl\, Shreveport\, LA 71115  \nRegistration Deadline: June 30\, 2026  \nCost: $20.00   \n  \nThis camp has been postponed but will be rescheduled.   \nCaddo Parish Parks and Recreation All-Girls Camp in partnership with Shantel Hardison has been postponed\, but will be rescheduled. New date coming soon.  \n \nCaddo Parish Parks and Recreation\, in partnership with Shantel Hardison\, will host this unique camp to assist campers with refining their fundamental basketball skills. They will also receive encouraging motivation that will help them to achieve their life goals. In addition to the basketball skills/drills component\, all campers will be required to attend a series of age-appropriate workshop presentations. Topics to include:  \nRegistration is required.  Register at www.caddoparks.org.  \n– Self-esteem / Empowerment / Mental Health  \n– Substance Abuse and Opioids  \n– Nutrition Tips / Wellness  \n– Bullying / Cyberbullying   \n– Relationships & Dating Violence  \n– Social Media Platforms “Do’s and Don’ts”  \n– College Recruiting / Eligibility Process \n All campers will receive a T-shirt.
