DESCRIPTION:PROGRAM: Caddo Parish T-Ball and Coach Pitch League Registration\nDATE/TIME: Starts the week of June 1\, 2026\, / 6:00 (Game Schedule will be provided) \nCaddo Parish Parks and Recreation to offer a T-Ball (3-6) and Coach Pitch League (7-8). This program will provide a Tee Ball and Coach Pitch experience that is grounded in fun\, fitness\, and fundamentals. Young players in this age bracket will build confidence as they practice hitting a ball off a Tee\, hitting coach-pitched balls\, running the bases\, catching\, and throwing. \nRegistration is required. Online registration at www.caddoparks.org. DESCRIPTION:EVENT: Youth Weightlifting Program / USA Weightlifting\n \nDATE(S): Monday – Thursday and Saturdays \nTIME(S): 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Monday – Thursday) and 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Saturdays)\nWHERE: LSU-Shreveport USA Weightlifting Center for High Performance and Development (Health & Physical Education Building\, One University Place\, Shreveport) \n  \nINFORMATION: Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation is partnering with LSU-Shreveport’s nationally recognized youth weightlifting program\, offering weightlifting-specific skill training\, combined with strength and conditioning that is accessible and challenging for beginners to intermediate-level weightlifters. All workout sessions are conducted by certified USA Weightlifting instructors. This program is for youth (children) ages 8 – 18. Cost: $50.00 for an annual USA Wannual USA Weightlifting membership.
