DESCRIPTION:Calling all Seniors! Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation\, with Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation (SPAR)\, will host Senior Day in the Park. This event will consist of a fun-filled day of games\, fitness activities\, socialization\, fishing\, and lunch for senior citizens 55 and older while enjoying the natural beauty of the park. Local health and wellness resource agencies will be on site. SUMMARY:2026 Annual Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Youth Football Clinic
DESCRIPTION:The 15th Annual Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Youth Football Clinic is coming on Saturday\, June 6\, 2026\nThe Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl will be hosting a FREE youth football clinic for area kids between the ages of 5-13 (incoming 8th-graders). The clinic will be held on Saturday\, June 6th\, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Shreveport’s Independence Stadium. Boys and girls\, ages 5-13 (incoming 8th-graders) are invited to participate in the FREE\, non-contact clinic led by former student-athletes and area college coaches. In addition to football fundamentals\, participants will learn about perseverance\, determination\, and discipline\, all of which are necessary in achieving their potential in both life and sports. \nRegistrants will be able to participate in offensive\, defensive\, and special teams drills while being coached by current college coaches and former college players. Each participant will receive a free t-shirt.
