DESCRIPTION:Calling all Seniors! Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation\, with Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation (SPAR)\, will host Senior Day in the Park. This event will consist of a fun-filled day of games\, fitness activities\, socialization\, fishing\, and lunch for senior citizens 55 and older while enjoying the natural beauty of the park. Local health and wellness resource agencies will be on site. DESCRIPTION:Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation\, in conjunction with Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and local Fitness Instructors\, is proud to offer a wide variety of free health and fitness classes. Health and Fitness Thursday’s goal is to promote and bring awareness to the importance of living and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.\nBring the entire family out for an evening of Dance Fitness\, Line Dancing\, Aerobics\, walking\, nutritional literacy information\, and more on the following dates:\nJanuary 8\, January 15\, January 22\, and January 29\nFebruary 5\, February 12\, February 19\, and February 26\nAll sessions take place at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.\nWear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. DESCRIPTION:Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation\, in conjunction with the Town of Vivian\, will offer a Healthy Heart Health Fair to educate\, promote awareness of\, and its the long-term effects of day-to-day health issues\, at Legion Hills Community\, 1004 S. Pardue St.\, Vivian\, LA. on February 26\, 2026\, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Health professionals will serve as guest presenters.  Blood pressure checks\, blood glucose\, and wellness check services will be available on-site.  Light fitness will be provided. Dress comfortably.\nA HEALTHY lunch will be provided for the first 100 attendees. The health fair will be open to the community. Services to be offered will include:\n1.
