SUMMARY:Caddo Parish Lupus Awareness Health Fair
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Caddo Parish Lupus Awareness Health Fair on May 16\, 2026\, 9 am – 12 pm aims to educate the community\, raise awareness\, and highlight the long-term\, day-to-day health impacts of lupus.  Health professionals will serve as guest presenters\, and on-site wellness screenings will be available.  Light fitness activities will be offered. SUMMARY:2026 Annual Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Youth Football Clinic
DESCRIPTION:The 15th Annual Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl Youth Football Clinic is coming on Saturday\, June 6\, 2026\nThe Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl will be hosting a FREE youth football clinic for area kids between the ages of 5-13 (incoming 8th-graders). The clinic will be held on Saturday\, June 6th\, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Shreveport’s Independence Stadium. Boys and girls\, ages 5-13 (incoming 8th-graders) are invited to participate in the FREE\, non-contact clinic led by former student-athletes and area college coaches. In addition to football fundamentals\, participants will learn about perseverance\, determination\, and discipline\, all of which are necessary in achieving their potential in both life and sports. \nRegistrants will be able to participate in offensive\, defensive\, and special teams drills while being coached by current college coaches and former college players. Each participant will receive a free t-shirt.
