SUMMARY:Spring Break Zombie Survival Camp
DESCRIPTION:DATE/TIME: March 9-13\, 2026 \nWHERE: Eddie Jones\, Earl G. Williamson\, Richard Fleming\, Caddo Common Parks\, and Shreveport Regional Arts Council \nCaddo Parks and Recreation will facilitate an inclusive program that combines athletics\, recreation\, and nature education for our Caddo Parish youth while out of school. The goal of this program is to provide our campers with 5 days of fun\, creative\, and educational skills to help them survive in nature. This will be a 5-day program during the Caddo Parish spring break. In addition\, this camp aims to provide safe\, engaging activities during spring break.  \nThe cost of this camp is $75/youth. DESCRIPTION:Caddo Parish\, LA – This year\, Owl Night returns at the new Walter B. Jacobs Nature Center\, promising a night filled with owls\, nature\, and nighttime discovery. \nJoin us on Saturday\, February 14\, 2026\, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the Walter B. Jacobs Nature Center (8012 Blanchard Furrh Rd\, Shreveport\, LA 71107) for an evening designed for all ages. Owl Night invites the community to meet live owls\, explore their nighttime world\, and enjoy a wide range of hands-on and educational experiences. Admission is free and open to the public. \nOwl Night features live owl encounters\, owl-inspired art activities\, guided night hikes\, owl story time with Shreve Memorial Library\, and naturalist presentations by local experts.
