DESCRIPTION:Fitness in the Park\, March 21\, 2026\, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.\, bring the entire family out for a morning of movement! You’ll find a variety of educational and fitness activities that promote healthy living\, including group fitness demos\, health screenings\, nutritional literacy information\, and more. This event is free to the public. \nParticipants may register on-site from 9 a.m. – 9:15 a.m. or complete pre-registration by March 19\, 2026\, and receive a free goody bag (supplies limited). SUMMARY:Yoga Hike at Walter B. Jacobs Nature Center
DESCRIPTION:With the equinox right around the corner\, what better time to recommit to a yoga practice. During this event\, we will embark on a hike down one of our beautiful trails at Walter B. Jacobs Nature Center and pick a spot away from all the noise and fuss of the modern world. Here we will be guided through a beginner friendly yoga sequence and spend some time working to reconnect with the nature around us. The hike itself will be approximately 1 mile in and and a half mile out. The Yoga sequence itself will be approximately 45 mins long. If you are wanting to practice on a mat\, then it will have to be carried in and out\, or you could take this opportunity to connect and ground with the earth.
