Repeat participation in the same theme will not be permitted.\n Camp Themes  Weeks 1 & 2 – Outdoor Skills Adventure Camp Hiking\, paddling\, fishing\, bushcraft\, primitive fire building\, shelter building\, and archery. Weeks 3 & 4 – Junior Naturalist Camp Explore local ecosystems while learning about plants\, reptiles\, birds\, and wildlife. SUMMARY:Yoga Hike at Walter B. Jacobs Nature Center
DESCRIPTION:With the equinox right around the corner\, what better time to recommit to a yoga practice. During this event\, we will embark on a hike down one of our beautiful trails at Walter B. Jacobs Nature Center and pick a spot away from all the noise and fuss of the modern world. Here we will be guided through a beginner friendly yoga sequence and spend some time working to reconnect with the nature around us. The hike itself will be approximately 1 mile in and and a half mile out. The Yoga sequence itself will be approximately 45 mins long. If you are wanting to practice on a mat\, then it will have to be carried in and out\, or you could take this opportunity to connect and ground with the earth.

DESCRIPTION:Join us at Walter B. Jacobs Nature Center for Toddler Tuesdays\, a fun and gentle introduction to nature for our youngest explorers! Held from 9:00–10:00 AM on the second Tuesday of each month\, this program includes a nature-themed story followed by a hands-on activity. Activities may include a short hike\, music and movement\, or a simple nature craft. Designed for toddlers and their caregivers\, Toddler Tuesdays encourages curiosity\, imagination\, and a love for the outdoors in a relaxed\, welcoming environment.\nAges: 1 – 5 Caregiver must remain with child.\n\nSpace is limited.
