These hands-on nature camps give campers the chance to explore the outdoors\, learn new skills\, and discover wildlife through real adventures in nature.\n Spots fill quickly! Repeat participation in the same theme will not be permitted.\n Camp Themes  Weeks 1 & 2 – Outdoor Skills Adventure Camp Hiking\, paddling\, fishing\, bushcraft\, primitive fire building\, shelter building\, and archery. Weeks 3 & 4 – Junior Naturalist Camp Explore local ecosystems while learning about plants\, reptiles\, birds\, and wildlife. Includes adventures to Kisatchie National Forest and Caddo Lake. Weeks 5 & 6 – Birds of Prey Camp Meet a different bird of prey each day while learning how raptors are cared for—from hawks and owls to falcons and vultures.\n Outdoor Camp Notice: Wild Child Camps are active outdoor programs. DESCRIPTION:Calling all Seniors! Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation\, with Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation (SPAR)\, will host Senior Day in the Park. This event will consist of a fun-filled day of games\, fitness activities\, socialization\, fishing\, and lunch for senior citizens 55 and older while enjoying the natural beauty of the park. Local health and wellness resource agencies will be on site.
