These hands-on nature camps give campers the chance to explore the outdoors\, learn new skills\, and discover wildlife through real adventures in nature.\n Spots fill quickly! Register now: https://parks.caddoparish.org/prod/ParksRec/portal/Home How to Register\n Create your free account on the Citizen Portal Click GET REGISTERED Type WILD CHILD in the Keyword field Select your preferred camp week\n Camps must be paid in full at registration.\n Important Policy: To allow more children the opportunity to experience Wild Child Camps\, campers may only register for one week of each theme. Repeat participation in the same theme will not be permitted.\n Camp Themes  Weeks 1 & 2 – Outdoor Skills Adventure Camp Hiking\, paddling\, fishing\, bushcraft\, primitive fire building\, shelter building\, and archery. Weeks 3 & 4 – Junior Naturalist Camp Explore local ecosystems while learning about plants\, reptiles\, birds\, and wildlife. Includes adventures to Kisatchie National Forest and Caddo Lake. Weeks 5 & 6 – Birds of Prey Camp Meet a different bird of prey each day while learning how raptors are cared for—from hawks and owls to falcons and vultures.\n Outdoor Camp Notice: Wild Child Camps are active outdoor programs. Held from 9:00–10:00 AM on the second Tuesday of each month\, this program includes a nature-themed story followed by a hands-on activity. Activities may include a short hike\, music and movement\, or a simple nature craft. Designed for toddlers and their caregivers\, Toddler Tuesdays encourages curiosity\, imagination\, and a love for the outdoors in a relaxed\, welcoming environment.\nAges: 1 – 5 Caregiver must remain with child.\n\nSpace is limited.
