Join us for the next installment of our Forest Foraging Series, where we explore the edible and medicinal plants native to Northwest Louisiana. This session focuses on the vibrant and versatile American Beautyberry (Callicarpa americana)—a native shrub known for its brilliant purple berries and traditional uses.

• Demonstration: how to make beautyberry jelly and talk on natural insect repellent
• Guided walk through the forest to forage for beautyberry (weather permitting)
