    The Parish of Caddo Department of Parks and Recreation is responsible for providing quality of life/leisure services to Caddo Parish citizens and visitors. The department maintains 16 sites throughout the Parish that include boat launches, ball fields, RV campground, multi-use trails, playgrounds and a nature center featuring a staffed visitor center with exhibits and live animals.

    Community in Action!
    Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation was honored to serve as a proud sponsor of Omarion's First Inaugural Backpack Giveaway!
    This incredible event, made possible through the vision of the Long/Miller Family and Jacob Branch of Offscript Sports, brought our community together to help students head back to school with the supplies they need to succeed.
    We are proud to support initiatives that invest in our youth, strengthen families, and create opportunities for our community to thrive. Seeing so many smiling faces and families come together reminds us that when we work together, we can make a lasting impact.
    Thank you to all of the volunteers, sponsors, community partners, and everyone who came out to make this event such a tremendous success. We look forward to continuing to support programs and events that enrich the lives of Caddo Parish residents.

    Safety first!

    The floating pier at Earl G. Williamson Park in Oil City is temporarily CLOSED to begin repairs to a bushing on the pier. The pier will remain closed until all repairs can be completed.
