The Parish of Caddo Department of Parks and Recreation is responsible for providing quality of life/leisure services to Caddo Parish citizens and visitors. The department maintains 16 sites throughout the Parish that include boat launches, ball fields, RV campground, multi-use trails, playgrounds and a nature center featuring a staffed visitor center with exhibits and live animals.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is excited to invite families to an action-packed week of learning and fun at Sheriff's Safety Town during Spring Break!
This week-long event runs from March 9 through March 13 and is designed to educate and inspire children through hands-on activities, interactive lessons, and unforgettable experiences. Each day from 8 AM to 4 PM will feature a unique theme that combines safety education with fun:
Mystery Solver Monday (bring a sack lunch)
STEAM Tuesday (lunch provided)
Blazing Ready Wednesday (bring a sack lunch)
CPR Thursday (bring a sack lunch)
Fun Day Friday – (lunch provided)
This is a great opportunity for your children to learn valuable life skills while enjoying engaging activities in a safe and welcoming environment.
