    The Parish of Caddo Department of Parks and Recreation is responsible for providing quality of life/leisure services to Caddo Parish citizens and visitors. The department maintains 16 sites throughout the Parish that include boat launches, ball fields, RV campground, multi-use trails, playgrounds and a nature center featuring a staffed visitor center with exhibits and live animals.

    Call all High School Students.
    FREE registration www.caddoparks.org
    NFL Wide Receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. of the Miami Dolphins, in conjunction with Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation, will host a Football Camp on Saturday, June 20, at Lee Hedges Stadium from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm for high school youth, 9th- 12th.
    Come out and learn the basic fundamentals of football and improve your football skills.

    📣Additional Camp Information 📣
    🚨CAMP HIGHLIGHTS🚨
    ✔️This is a Non-Contact camp
    ✔️Campers will be grouped by age
    ✔️Instruction will highlight offensive /defensive skills and teamwork
    ✔️All pre-registered campers will receive a camp T-shirt
    🚨EQUIPMENT/FOOD & WATER🚨
    ✔️Campers can wear rubber cleats (no metal cleats) or appropriate athletic shoes
    ✔️Campers will be provided hydration drinks, snacks, and a grab-and-go lunch

    🚨CAMP REGISTRATION🚨
    ✔️This camp is free to High School 9th – 12th grade
    ✔️Pre-Registration is required at www.caddoparks.org.

    The Caddo Parish Lupus Awareness Health Fair on May 16, 2026, at Pinchback Park, 7903 Jefferson Paige Road, Shreveport, LA., 9 am – 12 pm, aims to educate the community, raise awareness, and highlight the long-term, day-to-day health impacts of lupus. Health professionals will serve as guest presenters, and on-site wellness screenings will be available. Light fitness activities will be offered. Please dress comfortably and wear purple. A healthy lunch and T-shirts will be provided to the first 50 participants who register and attend the health fair. The event is open to seniors, youth, and adults.
