The Parish of Caddo Department of Parks and Recreation is responsible for providing quality of life/leisure services to Caddo Parish citizens and visitors. The department maintains 16 sites throughout the Parish that include boat launches, ball fields, RV campground, multi-use trails, playgrounds and a nature center featuring a staffed visitor center with exhibits and live animals.

One-Day Camp!!
Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation's two-day general skills and drills basketball camp, July 22-23, 2026, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, at LSUS, 1 University Pl, Shreveport, LA 71115, grades K-4th-8th has been changed to a one-day basketball camp. All campers will report on Thursday, July 23, 2026. This camp will focus on the fundamentals of the game of basketball. Walkups are welcome.
Registration is still open.
Registration is required. The registration fee is $15.00
Check-in is at 8:00 am

July 23, K-1st grade 9am – 12:30, 2nd grade – 4th grade 9am – 4:00 pm
July 23, 5th – 8th grade, 9 am – 4:00 pm.
