The Parish of Caddo Department of Parks and Recreation is responsible for providing quality of life/leisure services to Caddo Parish citizens and visitors. The department maintains 16 sites throughout the Parish that include boat launches, ball fields, RV campground, multi-use trails, playgrounds and a nature center featuring a staffed visitor center with exhibits and live animals.

Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation, in conjunction with Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and local Fitness Instructors are proud to offer a wide variety of free health and fitness classes.
Tonight, January 15, 2026, 6 pm - 7 pm at Morning Star. Bring the entire family out for an evening of Aerobics, walking, nutritional literacy information, and more.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. An exercise mat and hand weights are also suggested.
This event is free!
