The Parish of Caddo Department of Parks and Recreation is responsible for providing quality of life/leisure services to Caddo Parish citizens and visitors. The department maintains 16 sites throughout the Parish that include boat launches, ball fields, RV campground, multi-use trails, playgrounds and a nature center featuring a staffed visitor center with exhibits and live animals.

Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation to offer a T-Ball (3-6) and Coach Pitch League (7-8). This program will provide a Tee Ball and Coach Pitch experience that is grounded in fun, fitness, and fundamentals. Young players in this age bracket will build confidence as they practice hitting a ball off a Tee, hitting coach-pitched balls, running the bases, catching, and throwing.
Registration is required. Online registration at www.caddoparks.org. Player entry fee is $10.00.
Players' registration Deadline April 13, 2026 (online).

Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation, in conjunction with Caddo Parish Schools, Jr. NBA, and Raising Cane, will sponsor a one-day general skills and drills Jr. NBA Basketball Challenge on April 18, 2026, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, at Huntington High School, for boys and girls ages 5-13. The Registration Deadline is April 15, 2026.
Registration is required at www.caddoparks.org. Then click on Citizen Portal to create an account. This event is free to the public.
