The Parish of Caddo Department of Parks and Recreation is responsible for providing quality of life/leisure services to Caddo Parish citizens and visitors. The department maintains 16 sites throughout the Parish that include boat launches, ball fields, RV campground, multi-use trails, playgrounds and a nature center featuring a staffed visitor center with exhibits and live animals.

And just like that, the Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Zombie Spring Break Camp has come to an explosive end! 🧟♂️💥
Today’s fun day at the beautiful Earl G. Williamson Park was nothing short of amazing. From fishing, face painting, and playground fun to bounce houses and a food truck, it was the perfect way to wrap up an incredible week of fun, education, and nature survival experiences.
A huge shoutout to the Shreveport Regional Arts Council for coming out and bringing our zombies to life with their awesome face painting.

Day 4 of the Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Zombie Spring Break Camp was nothing short of breathtaking! 🧟♂️🚀
We kicked things off with an amazing visit to Sci-Port Discovery Center, where our campers learned so many exciting things about weather, fire, space, and the future. We can’t thank their team enough for the tremendous hospitality and energy they shared with our campers.

Day 3 of the Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Zombie Spring Break Survival Camp is in the books—even with a rainy-day twist! 🌧️🧟♂️
A huge shoutout to the amazing staff at Walter B. Jacobs Nature Park for bringing incredible energy and helping our campers dive into some awesome nature education.
We’d also like to thank Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church for opening their gym so our campers could stay warm, dry, and active.
