🏀🌟 It’s National Park & Recreation Month, and we’re celebrating all July long by highlighting the amazing people who make Caddo Parish Parks & Recreation so special! 🌟🏀
Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Mary Murphy, our incredible Athletics Coordinator! 🎉
Mary is the creative force behind many of the fun and engaging athletic programs offered throughout Caddo Parish. From organizing the upcoming 2025 Robert Williams Basketball Camp to leading the Caddo Parish Football Clinic, she’s passionate about helping our youth stay active, build confidence, and develop lifelong skills through sports and recreation.
But her impact doesn’t stop there! She also brings energy and encouragement to the senior community through Chair Aerobics classes at Galilee Baptist Church, proving that fitness is for all ages.
The Athletics Pillar of parks and recreation is essential to a healthy community — supporting physical and mental wellness, teamwork, and personal growth. Thanks to Ms. Murphy, we’re building a stronger, more active Caddo Parish.
👏 Let’s hear it for Miss Mary Murphy and all she does to keep us moving!
