    The Parish of Caddo Department of Parks and Recreation is responsible for providing quality of life/leisure services to Caddo Parish citizens and visitors. The department maintains 16 sites throughout the Parish that include boat launches, ball fields, RV campground, multi-use trails, playgrounds and a nature center featuring a staffed visitor center with exhibits and live animals.

Shreveport, LA, for boys and girls ages 4-14. Registration required. To register, go to www.caddoparks.org, click on Citizen Portal, and create an account to register. This event is free.     The Caddo Parish Lupus Awareness Health Fair on May 16, 2026, at Pinchback Park, 7903 Jefferson Paige Road, Shreveport, LA., 9 am – 12 pm, aims to educate the community, raise awareness, and highlight the long-term, day-to-day health impacts of lupus. Health professionals will serve as guest presenters, and on-site wellness screenings will be available. Light fitness activities will be offered. Please dress comfortably and wear purple.
