Hello Artists,
You are cordially invited to participate in Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation’s Art in the Park on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from noon to 4:00pm.
The event will be held at Richard Fleming Park, 7919 West Lakeshore Drive, Shreveport, LA.
There is no fee for vendors to participate, however space is limited. Additionally, there will be live music, food vendors, and lots of activities for the public. Last year, we attracted over 500 visitors.
We love having reoccurring and new artists to Art in the Park. To participate please complete the ONLINE APPLICATION . If you need assistance with submitting or uploading files, please contact Hulya Onel via email at Honel@caddo.org
A few housekeeping reminders:
1. 75% or more of your work displayed at Art in the Park must depict the natural world or use natural materials as the medium.
2. Tents, tables, racks, displays, etc. are your responsibility
-Caddo Parish Parks & Recreation has a very limited supply of tents and tables that can by loaned (Fist come, First serve) by request. Please notate needs on your application for consideration. We cannot loan more than one tent or table to any one artist.
3. Publicity and Marketing:
-Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation will publicize and market the event through press releases, area websites /event calendars, partnerships with local organizations, media appearances, social media, printed materials, and more.
-Artists are asked to share our marketing materials through your networks, social media accounts, etc. We kindly ask that you DO NOT create and post your own Art in the Park event on social media or other area calendars, which can create confusion and barriers to information for the public.
