Caddo Parish, LA – This July, join the Parish of Caddo for National Park and Recreation Month (NPRM), as we celebrate how Caddo Parish is stronger, more vibrant and more resilient because of parks and recreation. A variety of activities are planned for residents of all ages and abilities—including nature, fitness, athletic events, and more.
Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation is celebrating NPRM, an initiative of the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) by inviting our Parish community to share their experiences, memories and stories about what parks and recreation means to them.
“We are excited to join with NRPA to celebrate this important month,” said Caddo Parks and Recreation director Patrick Wesley. “We believe that our parish parks are flagship destinations in our Parish, and we are extremely proud of the work that our department staff do tirelessly, day in and out, to support our pillars of conservation, education, health and wellness, athletics and the arts,” said Wesley.
NPRA and Caddo Parks encourage everyone who supports parks and recreation and to share their experiences and favorite Caddo Parks photos on social media using the the hashtags #WhereYouBelong and #CaptureCaddo.
