Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Completes Phase 2 Park Improvements at P.B.S. Pinchback Park

Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation has just completed Phase 2 park improvements at P.B.S. Pinchback Park, located at 7903 Jefferson Paige Rd. in Shreveport. Park improvements include:

  • Construction of new ADA compliant and separated men’/women’s restroom facility;
  • Construction of a new 20” x 70” metal pavilion cover, complete with concrete foundation and tamper resistant lighting; and
  • Installed 8 new ADA picnic tables.

Total Cost of Construction: $400,000

P.B.S. Pinchback Park has quickly become a favorite in west Shreveport-with its diverse slate of outdoor park amenities such as: separated youth and adult basketball courts, covered shade structures over playground systems, 4 covered pavilions (large and small), turf mounds, and concrete cornhole boards located throughout park grounds. “We are excited about the ongoing capital improvements that are currently happening throughout our Caddo Parish park system. The improvements truly create a new park experience for our Caddo Parish citizens and visitors,” said Patrick Wesley-Director of Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Department.

Phase 3 will start later this fall with park lighting upgrades, new synthetic turf installation for youth baseball/softball infield and a new asphalt parking lot. For current updates on all Caddo Parish park improvement projects, visit www.caddoparks.gov.
