Get up, get out and get moving! Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Department has released it’s Summer 2023 Program Guide, highlighting fun and enriching opportunities for youth, adults, and families. From sport camps/clinics and community festivals, to nature education and crime prevention programs-you can find something fun, informative and healthy to do this summer for the entire family.
“Caddo Parish Parks Department staff has done an outstanding job planning a diverse slate of summer programs and leisure services for Caddo Parish youth, adults and families to enjoy. I encourage all citizens to get out, get involved and enjoy all programs and related services our department has to offer,” said Patrick Wesley-Director of Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Department.
In addition to scheduled summer programs and events, all Caddo Parish public parks, green space, nature trails and walking paths will be open to the general public daily from 6:00am – 9:00pm, with the exception of Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park (Wednesday through Saturday from 8am – 5pm, and Sundays from 1pm – 5pm.).
