In preparation of freezing temperatures on next week, Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation will close all park restrooms starting Monday, January 15th to protect plumbing. Temporary outdoor portlets will be available at each restroom site. The following closed park restrooms will include:
- Earl G. Williamson Park(11425 Hwy. 1-Oil City)
- Eddie D. Jones Park(8400 Mike Clark Rd.-Keithville)
- Keithville Community Park(12201 Mansfield Rd.-Shreveport)
- Noah Tyson Park(9300 Mira Myrtis Rd.-Rodessa)
- PBS Pinchback Park(7903 Jefferson Page Rd.-Shreveport)
- Richard Fleming Park(7919 West Lakeshore Rd.-Shreveport)
- Robert Nance Park(14770 Odom Rd.-Hosston)
Water service will not be available at any Caddo Parish park picnic shelters/pavilions. Park trails at Eddie D. Jones Park will remain open, but caution is always advised for all trail users. Wind, snow and ice can create unexpected hazards and irregular footing!
