Call for Artists at Art in the Park to be held on Saturday, November 6,, 2021
Art in the Park is an annual nature and wildlife art show and sale featuring all local artists from the Shreveport-Bossier area.
Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Department announces a call for artists for the annual Art in the Park event at Walter B Jacobs Memorial Nature Park on Saturday, November 6 from 12:00pm-4:00pm. The event features a wide variety of nature-inspired art for sale, from paintings and photography to stone tools and woodcarvings, all from local artists. Mini art workshops, artist demonstrations, hands-on art activities, live music, and food vendors are also planned.
Amateur and professional artists whose work features wildlife or nature or uses natural materials as their medium will be considered. If you would like to be considered as a featured artist, please submit the application found at caddoparks.org/event/art-in-the-park/. Spaces are free of charge but limited.
