Music Line-up:

Twang Darkly

Twang Darkly conjures rural space music, an instrumental stew of Appalachian sounds, spiritual jazz, and world fusion.  Founder and composer Michael Futreal builds and plays dulcimers and flutes of scrap wood, gourds, and bamboo, also performing with conventional instruments such as guitar, ukulele, and harmonica.  The trio’s inventiveness is completed by Joel Boultinghouse on guitar and bass along with Lane Bayliss on drums.  A regular on the ArkLaTex scene since 2010, Twang Darkly explores secret paths that intertwine tradition and creativity.  Find out more at https://michaelfutreal.com
