National Trails Day: Guided Hike

Come out and enjoy a casual paced hike through various types of habitats and see some of the wonders that Louisiana has to offer. Starting at approximately 9:00 a.m., the guided hike will be led by a park naturalist, so feel free to ask all the questions you want about the local flora and fauna.
This is a free event with available parking, restrooms, picnic areas, and a children’s play area. Registration for guided hike is preferred but not required. You can register online here or call the park at (318) 929-2806.
Are you a go-it-alone kind of Hiker and would like to forego the group? That’s ok too! The park is available to everyone who wants to come out and enjoy it. No registration is necessary to come out and enjoy the trails.
