National Trails Day: Guided Hike

Come out and enjoy a casual paced hike through various types of habitats and see what some of the wonders that Louisiana has to offer. Starting at approximately 9:00 a.m., the guided hike will be led by a park naturalist, so feel free to ask all the questions you want about the local flora and fauna. Are you a go-it-alone kind of Hiker and would like to forego the group? That’s ok too! The nature park has approximately five miles of trails and will open at 8:00 a.m. with the gates closing at 5:00 p.m. This is a free event with available parking, climate-controlled nature center to explore, restrooms, and a children’s play room.
