Important Policy: To allow more children the opportunity to experience Wild Child Camps, campers may only register for one week of each theme. Repeat participation in the same theme will not be permitted.

Camp Themes

Weeks 1 & 2 – Outdoor Skills Adventure Camp Hiking, paddling, fishing, bushcraft, primitive fire building, shelter building, and archery.

Weeks 3 & 4 – Junior Naturalist Camp Explore local ecosystems while learning about plants, reptiles, birds, and wildlife. Includes adventures to Kisatchie National Forest and Caddo Lake.

Weeks 5 & 6 – Birds of Prey Camp Meet a different bird of prey each day while learning how raptors are cared for—from hawks and owls to falcons and vultures.

Outdoor Camp Notice: Wild Child Camps are active outdoor programs. Campers may hike up to 4 miles per day, so water bottles and closed-toe hiking shoes are required. Give your child a summer of adventure, discovery, and wild fun!
