Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Parks Department has reopened 80 percent of walking, bike and horse trails at Eddie D. Jones Park (8400 Mike Clark Rd.-Keithville). Trails were closed to the general public this summer due to the violent storm that hit the Arkla Tex on June 16th and left hundreds of downed trees throughout several Caddo Parish parks.
Some trail areas of the park still have limited access, which are clearly identified and marked. The Parish asked park users to obey all barricades and signage. The remainder of the tree/debris removal be completed by the end of November, pending weather conditions.
