Project Scope of Work:
The new facility will be approximately 13,000 square feet with approximately 6,000 square feet of exterior spaces, pavilions, decks etc. The facility shall have multiple and varied exhibition spaces, a large multifunction lecture/meeting/event room, catering kitchen, several classroom spaces, outdoor learning and event spaces, administration spaces, workrooms for staff, secured dry storage, secured food storage for animals with proper sanitation facilities, aviary, outdoor pavilions, decks and outdoor learning areas. The site will include new parking and outdoor learning areas that can also be utilized for festivals and outdoor events.
A new aviary, renovations to the existing pavilion, ADA compliant access to all amenities (pavilion, aviary etc.) 25,000 square feet inclusive park with restroom facilities and parking, updates to existing bus parking (striping, curb stops etc.). Scope of work to also include: site surveying, soil borings and concrete/soil testing, new sewer connection to Blanchard city sewer and a new drive to nature center.
