Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation, in conjunction with The Gingerbread House and GEYA (Giving Education Your All), hosted the Shreveport Family Christmas Festival on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 12:00–4:00 p.m. at Shreveport Festival Plaza.

This year, the festival introduced an exciting new feature sponsored by Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation: The Energy Zone—a high-energy, health-focused activation designed to engage and inspire attendees of all ages.

Special thanks to Dorian Ford for offering this wonderful event to the public. With more than 300 attendees, the festival was a great success and a memorable celebration for families across the community.
