Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation is excited to announce another summer of quality, low-cost programs and services to the citizens of Caddo Parish. From youth football camps and sport clinics, to awesome nature education camps, special events and crime prevention programs.
“We are so excited to offer these quality of life programs and services to our Caddo Parish citizens. We encourage all of our citizens, young and old, to get moving and get involved,” said Patrick Wesley-Director of Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation.
In addition to scheduled summer programs and events, Caddo Parish public parks, green space, playgrounds, trails, walking paths and fishing piers will be available for families daily from 6:00am – 9:00pm. Earl G. Williamson Park, PBS Pinchback Park and Greenbrook Park are currently closed to the public due to ongoing park improvements. Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park and Visitor Center will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 8am – 5pm, and Sundays from 1pm – 5pm.
Just about any day this summer, Caddo Parish citizens will be able to find fun, wholesome, and healthy activities to enjoy. For a complete listing of summer programs, activities, and parks, check our program calendar.
