Call for Artists at Owl Night on February 12, 2022

Owl Night invites visitors to meet live owls and explore their night world!

Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Department announces a call for artists for the annual Owl Night event at Walter B Jacobs Memorial Nature Park on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 5:00pm-9:00pm. 1,200+ event visitors will encounter live owls and find a variety of activities that explore how owls are adapted to their night world. Educational presentations, games, artist booths, food trucks, and more are planned.

Amateur and professional artists whose work features owls are invited to apply. If you would like to be considered as a featured Owl Night artist, please submit the application found at https://caddoparks.org/2021/12/07/call-for-artists-at-owl-night/. Artists will be notified of acceptance the first week of January 2022 and those applying afterwards will be considered as space is available.

Spaces are free of charge but limited. Artists must agree that 80% or more of the artwork displayed will feature owls. Contact Stacy Gray at sgray@caddo.org or call us at (318) 929-2806 for more information.
