
Due to the prediction of heavy rain and flash flood warning, in our area, we are canceling and rescheduling the 2025 Pitch Hit and Run Competition scheduled for tonight, June 11, 2025, to Wednesday, July 9, 2025, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at Captain Shreve Baseball Field.
Caddo Parish MLB Pitch Hit and Run/Jr. Home Run Derby Competition will be held on June 11, 2025. MLB Pitch Hit & Run (PHR) and MLB Jr. Home Run Derby (JrHRD) are free, one-day competitions that are easy to execute for players ages 4-14. PHR is the Official Skills Competition of MLB – providing youth the opportunity to show off their fundamental baseball/softball skills, and JrHRD is a fun competition that provides baseball players the chance to display their hitting power. The Jr. Home Run Derby is being held as a local competition only (no advancements). The competition is open to all boys and girls aged 7-14 and under. All participants compete together in one of two age groups (12U or 14U). T-Ball Clinic 4-6. A participant’s age is determined as of November 15, 2025.
Registration and a complete waiver are required for this event.
