Fall is on the way and the Caddo Parish Parks & Recreation department is pleased to announce the Fall 2022 Program Guide is now available. With of lots of special events and engaging programs, citizens will find something for everyone.
“This fall, we are excited to offer our citizens several programs and events focused on art and music. The young, and young at heart, will enjoy the Tiny Tots Concert Series featuring the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra and for adults we’ve planned a series of photography and painting classes. Every age will enjoy the annual Art in the Park event, with local artists, live music, and fun activities for all” said Stacy Gray, Education Coordinator with Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation.
In addition to scheduled fall programs and events, Caddo Parish public parks, green space, playgrounds, trails, walking paths and fishing piers are open and accessible daily from 6:00am – 9:00pm. Earl G. Williamson Park is currently closed to the public due to ongoing park improvements. Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park and Visitor Center will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 8am – 5pm, and Sunday from 1pm – 5pm.
