Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation, in conjunction with Galilee Baptist Church will host a Senior Citizen Wellness Expo on Tuesday, November 9th from 9:00am – 12:00noon at the Galilee Baptist Church gymnasium-located on 1500 Pierre Avenue.
Several health agency providers will be on-site to offer invaluable health and wellness information, including blood pressure checks, Covid-19 vaccinations, tips for healthy living and exercise demonstrations. A Medicare and Medicaid Open Enrollment seminar will also be held.
This event is free for all Caddo Parish senior citizens. Healthy snacks and a box lunch, sponsored by the National Recreation and Parks Association will be provided for all senior attendees.
