Art in the Park is an annual art show and sale featuring all local artists from the Shreveport-Bossier area who take inspiration from the natural world.
SHREVEPORT, LA-Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Department announce a call for artists for the annual Art in the Park event at Richard Fleming Park on Saturday, November 4 from noon to 4:00 p.m. The event is “A celebration of art and nature” and features a wide variety of nature-inspired art for sale, from paintings and photography to stone tools and woodcarvings, all from local artists. Mini art workshops, artist demonstrations, hands-on art activities, live music, and food vendors are also planned.
Amateur and professional artists whose work features wildlife or nature or uses natural materials as their medium are eligible. If you would like to be considered as a featured artist, please submit the application found here on the event page. Spaces are free of charge but limited.
