Wild Child Summer Camp is designed for kids ages 8-12 who love nature and want to increase knowledge and awareness of the natural world.
Each week will include lots of time outdoors, hands-on educational activities, hiking, arts & crafts, and games.

This camp is for active explorers! Kids will be introduced to canoeing, archery, and fishing along with other skills that can be used for years to come in enjoying outdoor recreation.
Field trip locations will include hiking at Eddie D. Jones Park, fishing at the Drift Inn on Caddo Lake, canoeing at Richard Fleming Park, and more!

Topics to include edible/poisonous plants, aquatic ecosystem exploration, native reptile identification, birding, and lots more!
Field trip locations will include a boat tour from Caddo Lake State Park, hiking in Kisatchie National Forest, fishing at the Drift Inn on Caddo Lake, and more!

This camp uses art to explore nature. Kids will experiment with several creative mediums including photography, fairy-house building, watercolor, journaling, and lots more as ways to observe, appreciate, and increase knowledge of the natural world.
