Looking for an adventure this weekend?
Join us for Family Adventure Day at Richard Fleming Park on Saturday, May 18, 9am-12pm for canoeing, fishing, and archery! No equipment or experience required but must be ages 6 & up for this FREE event (absolutely no exceptions due to equipment sizes and safety concerns). Rotate through activities at your leisure. Bring a picnic lunch. You must pre-register and space is limited register here: https://forms.gle/t9drEQTzhc5VnVcJ6
Calling all Seniors! Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation, with Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation (SPAR), will host Senior Day in the Park. This event will consist of a fun-filled day of games, fitness activities, socialization, fishing, and lunch for senior citizens 55 and older while enjoying the natural beauty of the park. Local health and wellness resource agencies will be on site. Blood pressure checks and blood glucose testing services will also be available on-site.
