The Parish of Caddo Department of Parks and Recreation is responsible for providing quality of life/leisure services to Caddo Parish citizens and visitors. The department maintains 16 sites throughout the Parish that include boat launches, ball fields, RV campground, multi-use trails, playgrounds and a nature center featuring a staffed visitor center with exhibits and live animals.

Day 2 of the Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Zombie Spring Break Survival Camp is a wrap! 🧟‍♂️

A huge shoutout to our community partners at the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office for hosting our campers at Sheriff’s Safety Town. The STEAM program was amazing, fun, and extremely educational for everyone involved.

Things just keep getting better and better. Stay tuned… the adventure continues! 🚨🧟‍♀️

Caddo Youth Baseball Skills and Drills Clinic rescheduled from March 11, 2026, to March 25, 2026

Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation, in conjunction with the Captain Shreve High School Baseball Coach and baseball team, will host the Caddo Parish Youth Baseball Skills and Drills Clinic on March 25, 2026, from 6 pm - 8 pm, at Captain Shreve High School.

This clinic will offer youth players ages 4-14 an opportunity to participate in fundamental skills and drills covering selected areas of the game. Instruction will be provided by Todd Sharp, Captain Shreve High School Baseball Coaching Staff, and their players. Players are encouraged to bring their gloves.

Participants must register at www.caddoparks.org.
