As a result of the recent flooding/high water, Earl G. Williamson Park (boat launch) – (11425 LA Hwy 1, Oil City, LA) isnow closed to the public until further notice:
This boat launch is now barricaded. As a reminder, it is unlawful to go around any posted signage or barricade.
Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation officials will continue to monitor water levels in conjunction with the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office to determine when it is safe to reopen the parks.
