Effective Immediately, April 7, 2023The following parks are closed due to rising water levels:
Richard Fleming Park – 7919 West Lakeshore Dr., Shreveport, LA
Milton James “Hookie’ Cameron Memorial Park – 10599 Wallace Lake Rd., Shreveport, LA
The Parish urges all citizens to adhere to all traffic barricades that have been placed, as it is unlawful to breach any barricade or official signage.
The Parish will continue to monitor water levels and parks will reopen only when water levels fall below guidelines set with local law enforcement and safety officials.
Water levels will be monitored by local law enforcement agencies and the park will re-open when deemed safe. Check caddoparks.org for updates.
