Earl G. Williamson Park
This 40-acre park provides a public boat ramp, a 450-foot fishing pier, paved parking areas, restrooms with showers, RV camper hook-ups, areas for tent camping, extensive picnic facilities, a lighted ball field, cornhole court, 9 hole disc golf course, and a swimming area.

General Campground Rules
- Fees are payable within one hour of occupying a campsite.
- No more than two sites may be occupied by a single party without permission of the Director of Parks and Recreation or his designee.
- Each RV site will accommodate only one RV and no more than two other vehicles.
- All RVs, trailers, and vehicles entering the park must display current vehicle registration. RV sites will not be assigned to unregistered vehicles.
- Converted school busses or other converted vehicles and disabled vehicles will not be permitted in the RV sites.
- Storage sheds, fences, skirting, dog houses, outbuildings, storage containers, or storage of any non-RV items are not permitted. All external devices or equipment must be attached to the RV without ground support.
- Park guest(s) shall keep their assigned campsite free of litter and uncluttered at all times.
- Items such as ropes and tarps may not be attached to trees, utility pedestals, or any other park property.
- Campfires are only permitted in designated areas. Any remaining firewood will be removed prior to vacating campsites. All fires must be attended by an adult at all times.
- Park guest(s) shall adhere to all mandated local/state-wide burn bans, until rescinded.
- Drying clothes via hanging of laundry line at campsites is prohibited.
- Dish washing and fish cleaning at park water supplies and restrooms is prohibited.
- Absolutely no work or repairs may be performed on vehicles or watercraft in the campground at any time. Use of park water to wash vehicles is prohibited.
- Parents are responsible for children’s safety and behavior.
- Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 6:00am. Generators, loud music, and excessive noise is not permitted. Offensive parties will be evicted from the park upon second notice from the Park Host.
- Modifications to electrical pedestals is strictly forbidden. Any tampering will result in immediate eviction.
- Park speed limit is enforced at 15mph. Off-road vehicles prohibited, electrical carts limited to handicapped use.
- Property may not be left unattended for more than 24 hours without permission from Park Host. Property may be impounded after 72 hours at the owner’s expense.
- The Parish of Caddo, Park Host and respective employees are not liable regarding damage and/or loss of personal property.
Pets
- A maximum number of 2 pets total are permitted at each site, subject to owner’s ability to control them.
- Owners are responsible for the pet’s actions/welfare and control all pet noise, and dispose of pet waste in trash receptacles.
- Pets may not roam unrestrained at any time, with the exception of approved/trained service animals via ADA federal guidelines.
Length of Stay Policy
It is the intent of the Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation Department to provide camping sites in the Earl G. Williamson Park (Oil City, Louisiana) for those persons desiring to stay in the park for recreation and relaxation. The camping sites are not intended to be used as a temporary or permanent home base for those persons working in the area. Therefore, the following policy shall be enforced by the Department of Parks and Recreation:
- Campers shall be limited to a fourteen-day stay and shall wait seven days before returning.
- The director of parks and recreation or his designee may ask a camper to vacate a site if a conflict over use of the site arises. The camper shall be given 24 hours’ notice that the site must be vacated, provided that the camper has obeyed all the posted parks rules and regulations.
